Kaanta Laga and Bigg Boss 13 fame Shefali Jariwala died at 42, reportedly due to a cardiac arrest late Friday night. She was rushed to the hospital by her husband, Parag Tyagi, but was declared dead.
Actor Shefali Jariwala, known for her appearance in the iconic music video Kaanta Laga and her stint on Bigg Boss 13, died at the age of 42. She reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest late on Friday night.
Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, rushed her to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Following this, her body was taken to Cooper Hospital around 12:30 am for postmortem.
According to the Assistant Medical Officer (AMO) at Cooper Hospital, the body was brought from another hospital, and the exact cause of death will be confirmed only after the postmortem report.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police reached Shefali’s residence in Andheri late at night for an investigation. A forensic team was also present at the scene and conducted a thorough search of the house. Although no official statement has been released so far regarding the circumstances of her death, the presence of police and forensic teams suggests that the case is being treated as suspicious.
Shefali Jariwala rose to fame in 2002 with the music video Kaanta Laga, which made her a household name. She later appeared in Salman Khan’s film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and starred in the 2019 web series Baby Come Naa. She also participated in popular dance reality shows like Boogie Woogie and Nach Baliye.
