Rahul Gandhi will file his nomination papers from Wayanad Lok sabha seat in Kerala

Congress declared on Sunday that party president Rahul Gandhi will contest from wayanad in Kerala in addition to Amethi in Uttar Pradesh. This will be the first time Rahul Gandhi will contest elections from 2 seats at once.

Wayanad is an ideal constituency because it will satisfy sentiments of all three states. Congress president Rahul Gandhi will file his nomination papers from the Wayanad Lok sabha seat in Kerala, the second constituency he is contesting apart from Amethi in Uttar Pradesh, Today morning. Accompanied by party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi.

After filling his nomination papers, Rahul Gandhi will visit Waynad again once or twice for campaigning, said party leaders.

Police and protection group had a tough time keeping the crowd under control; Rahul Gandhi & Priyanka Gandhi left the airport through a special gate. Kerala is going to the poll in the third stage of the seven-phase Lok Sabha election on April 23 and the last date for filling nominations is April 4. The votes will be counted on May 23.
