Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu, on Tuesday, took to Twitter to share photos from his family trip to Rishikesh. The politician and his family went to Rishikesh on the occasion of Ganga Dussehra. He shared pictures with his wife Navjot Kaur Sidhu, daughter, Rabia Sidhu, and son, Karan Sidhu.
Sharing happy pictures from the trip, the former Indian cricketer wrote that it was planned to fulfill his wife’s ‘cherished desire’. “Fulfilling my wife’s cherished desire. A dip in the holy Ganges on the auspicious occasion of Ganga Dussehra at Rishikesh!!” the post caption reds.
One of the photos shows Navjot Singh Sidhu taking a dip in the holy Ganges with his wife and daughter. There’s another family photo that shows the family dining together.

His wife was recently diagnosed with stage 2 invasive cancer. She shared the health update on Twitter. Navjot Singh Sidhu’s wife dedicated an emotional letter to her husband who was serving a sentence in jail for a road-rage incident from 34 years ago.
“He is in prison for a crime he has not committed. Forgive all those involved. Waiting for you each day outside, probably suffering more than you. As usual, trying to take your pain away, asked for sharing it. Happened to see a small growth, knew it was bad,” she wrote.
Navjot Singh Sidhu was sentenced to a one-year jail term on May 19, 2022, in the 1988 road rage case.
