India reported 26,291 new cases, and 118 deaths in the last 24 hours, as per Union health ministry’s updated data on Monday. Due to a surge in Covid-19 cases in Maharashtra (which reported 16,620 new cases), the state government imposed a lockdown in Nagpur district from March 15 to 21.
