Uttar Pradesh Enhances Security Measures for Eid-ul-Azha Festivities

Ahead of Eid-ul-Azha, Uttar Pradesh has ramped up security measures including drone surveillance and traffic diversions. Religious gatherings will be monitored closely to ensure safety and communal harmony. Authorities have requested prayers be conducted at designated locations, amidst the state’s extensive preparations for a peaceful celebration.

As the Eid-ul-Azha festivities approach, Uttar Pradesh officials have reinforced security across the state. This includes drone monitoring, CCTV observations, and deploying additional police personnel to secure public gatherings and maintain law and order.

In Lucknow, over 1,300 police officers, along with special units, are on duty to manage the celebrations efficiently. The city has been divided into strategic zones to ensure effective security measures. Meanwhile, district officials in Varanasi and Agra have called for prayers at designated sites and advised against public road gatherings, emphasizing the need for communal harmony during the festive period.
